Sleepy headlight mod
How do some people do the sleepy headlight mod where the headlights dont pop-up all the way? Pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I only see it on nissans and old corollas. cool drifter thing to do I guess.
the lighting on pop ups already suck. aiming them lower is begging to hit a tree.
I guess if you disconnect the motor an manually adjust them. it should work

I never use my normal headlights anyway, HID foglights all the way!!

It looks like an open air filter element behind that vent. If that's the case, it is functional.

I've seen the sleepy eye on RX-7 and Stealths/3000GTs more often, I agree it looks good on the C5. I abandoned the idea because I couldn't afford to have any LESS light coming out of my crappy headlights. With HID that may be a different story, depends on how the pattern looks I guess....

Yeah. And I think there was another where the guy used Infiniti headlights with the door not coming all the way up.

The air intake is functional. I remember him posting it a year or so back, Did it himself in fiberglass as I recal. Looks like the same one.

Unless the HIDs were small projectors mounted high in custom mounts, the beam pattern in the "sleepy" setting would be way too low and almost 1/2 the beam would be lost.
Perhaps RadioFlyer will do this on his next headlight mod
