how is the lighting compaired to the stock bulbs? I dont want to pay 400 bucks to have the same ****ty lighting

it is certainly alot brighter and a different more effecient beam pattern also

i used the bulbs that came with it for 2 days. and upgraded to HID very simple mod but i suggest you change to HID before you put the lights in it is a bit easier to get the bulb in there nicely

I was going to go HID when i installed mine, but the lighting was so good with the stock depo bulbs, i saw no reason to change it

so you just bought the HID bulb? please explain what you had to do

I also think the output is better then stock (not jump up and down better, but better)...I'd love to see what's involved with going H.I.D.

thats what im saying....also, how di you lower that much?!...i need an inch lower and bigger rims.......god my wallet hates me

Not hard at all swapping to HID i did mine in under an hour with the depo already installed in the car.

what you need:

h7 HID kit ( pm for a link to a good supplier)
swab of alcohol (to clean a surface)
couple of zip ties
and most of all little fingers :thumb:
the difference between having HID and stock bulbs is like night and day trust me you wont be dissapointed. this mod and my LED halo tails are some of my most functional visual mods

i cut the bolt and bushing of the front oand just used longer bolts in the back to get her that low. it hard walking away from her when i park, i always seem to trip because im always looking back LOL

what did you use to paint that bar that connects the targa top to the back black?

had a body shop guy do off the side work for me
only hit me for $150

How clean is the fit on these kits? Easy to install? Is there any kind of weight savings with these over the flip ups?

they are ok the fitment you have to fiddle with till you get it how you want. big weight savings

HID is Once you've seen the 6k bulbs illuminated you will NEVER want anything else....and yes it will be jump up & down better looking!!!....BTW, your car & your avatar look GREAT BRO
