Default Going to the track

I have a 98 auto, tring to find out the best way to launch at the track. Should I stall up some then kick it to the floor or kick it from idle, If I should stall up how much? My car has street tires with very fue mods, don't think traction will be a problem, just tring to get best time out of car.

Auto, correct? Then put it in drive 3 [traction control off] and torque it up to 1800 rpm. Watch the light and go just as the last yellow comes on. If your running run craps be sure to drive around the water box and do a mild burn out on your way to stage.

While stopped push and hold your traction control button for 5-6 secounds your DIC will read, traction control off ,,,,then-- competitive driving. This mode is what you want. When stagged leave on the third yellow for good reaction time.
