i will be installing my new cam, it is a MS4. i have never done anything like this before so i am kind of nervous but i think i can power through it. Of course i will be taking my time, i think i have good instructions that i will be using, which i got off ls1howto.com. i have most of the stuff that i need but i will have to get some odds and ends. i am hoping it will take me a week to do because i still have to work. I will still try to have some friends come over and help to make things easer.
so if you have any advice please give me some, i would appreciate it. And if you have pictures or video of your install please post them up, that would give me some motivation..
hey its not that bad, you'll be fine. I think the hardest part is actually taking the A arms and rack out of the way. the cam itseld is NOT hard at all. If you are doing a oil pump (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) just DO NOT LOOSE/DROP the O-ring in the oil pan.
If you get stuck just step back and take a break. It will come to you, just study the write up on ls1howto and do it to it. ITS REALLY NOT THAT HARD. IF you need to ask a question you know where to go.
Autozone has a LS1/LS6 book/manual. it has a red camaro and a vette on the cover with 3-4 engines in the front look it up

You will love the MS4. Ask me how I know. Just make sure you get a good tune afterwards. I am getting ready to add a nice set of heads to my MS4/ported FAST92/Kooks combo.
