Default Vredestein tires sizing

Looking for some Vredestein tires in stock C5 sizing, Tomz Wheels says they have 245/45-17 and a 275/35-18 .

So will a 275/35-18 fit a stock C5 rear thin spoke wheel ?
Will the difference between the 275/35-18 and the stock 275/40-18 cause any issues on a non lowered C5 ?

The tire will fit fine but the problem may be in the height difference between the front and rear tires. You'll likely have issues with the traction control/active handling kicking in because it thinks the wheel is spinning since it is smaller. The stock tire sizes are 245/45 and 275/40.

If you want to run a 35 on the rear with stock widths, you'll need to run a 245/40 up front to keep the AH/TC happy.

Lowered or not lowered will not have any effect on any of these sizes.

Go here: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?
It'll tell you everything you need to know. The size difference will affect your speedometer also. I decided against the Vredesteins and bought a really nice set of Nitto Extreme Performance from Tomz, great price and no probs........
