Holy crap. My wife doesn't drive the C5 because it is so low. She doesn't do well on inclines or reading the road. If she drove it, it would come back with no bumper. She has bottomed out the front of her Ford Focus to give you an idea; that thing has almost a foot of ground clearance.

But a low car, AND supercharged? You are a brave man.

There are times when I forget just how beautiful the car is from the outside, because my interior is completely stock, and doesn't "pop" like the outside does.

My friends, as well as some strangers (cops I met in the parking lot) have taken my car around the block, and I can't tell you how proud I am to own such a beautiful machine. Seeing it from the outside is just such a thing of beauty, it gives me permagrin just knowing that it's mine!

The C-5 really is beautiful. If a painting of it were discovered in ancient Greece the painting would be in a museum and labled a work of art. The mysterious object in the painting would be mythical of course because it did not exist at that time.

Many cars are beautiful . I wish there was a place that housed pictures of beautiful cars so I could visit it.

Yes i went to our local dragstrip , I let my friend who races alot more than i ever will take my car down the quarter, He drove my car to a 12:40 @ 112mph i was a little worried , but the car looked and sounded awsome.Im standing there waiting for him to pull back to my parking spot, He just drives right by, Jumps back in line and does it again. No regrets, Thanks Steve.

I like to see the grin on their face when they hit boost, except they are in the right hand seat

The only person other than myself that I have let drive my vettes is my brother (who also owns a vette). It a pretty neat feeling to see your car moving down the road as a spectator.

My wife and I were in Canon City just last week. First time for me. We had a nice time, on the way to Durango. The best part was the Skyline Drive. What fun. What a scene.

The down side. I wasn't in my vette. Don't get me wrong, I love my new Tacoma. But how can anything better my vette. Next time. Skyline Drive too.

Yea, one of my friends here on the forum, we swapped vettes for a quick drive one night out and it was cool I mainly wanted to hear how mine sounded and looked, same for him. It was fun.

I wasnt happy about not being able to drive a Vette on the way home....but it was sure a beautiful sight that I dont often get to see!!!
NO ONE but me drives my vette...................

Yea, the passenger experience is a totally different world from the drivers. Usually, you have to repair the claw marks in the passenger side airbag!

I'm still on those factory supplied GY Run-Flats @ 22k miles. As hard as they are - you'd think they would never wear down.

Actually though I'm finally gonna replace them this year.

Occasionally my little bro will steal my car if we meet up for food or something, it's awesome to see your car drive by you, especially seeing other people point at it at stoplights...
