Default Car Cover

I need some help getting a new car cover and want to know a couple of things from those who have them:

1: I have a Wolf now but don't like the film it leaves behind on the paint when you remove the cover.

2: Would like to get one with super soft on the inside to protect from paint scratches but be very durable also for rain, wind, and UV from the sun.

Thanks in advance to those who reply

Go to the CALIFORNIA CAR COVER COMPANY site and do some research there. That site has images and an explanation for each of the covers they sell.

I have a Maxtech from Corvette America. About $100. So far after a year I'm happy. It's quite soft and also durable. I park outside and cover it when I'm not going to use it for a few days.

Get in on this group purchase from Southerncarparts. A little pricey but well worth it. Group purchase only through April.

That's the problem with some car covers. They're treated with some sort of crap, I mean chemical. I notice it on my windshield more than anywhere. I just quit using it the cover. The car is in the garage anyway. Need to find one that's lined with felt/cotton.

I even washed mine in the washer and dryed it twice and couldn't get the film off mine

If the goal is just to keep the dust off, I heard the parachute type material works pretty well. Haven't tried it myself though.

What about the issue of film on the car when you remove the cover?

Does it leave a fine powdery film on your car when you take it off?

I have DUSTOPs for all three of my black Corvettes since they are always garaged....The DUSTOP is great for black cars...if you own one you know it doesnt take much to scratch it....The DUSTOP is available from California Car Cover www.calcarcover.com The DUSTOP can be used temporarily outdoors...but it is not recommended for frequent outdoor use...If that's the case...go with a NOAH...
