funny c6 guy i work with...
my car is a h/c/i and full exhaust 99 frc and i have a guy i work with who swears up and down his stock c6 will take mine. he says he worked for gm as an engineer for the last 6 7 years and has built many c5's. i told him they must have no requirements to be a engineer over there. he tells me that i have done nothin but hurt my car cause of the mods it has, and if i want to go fast take it all back off and just put a supercharger on it. when i tell him my car dynos 430 hot he says he wants to see the graph and the a/f etc and if its a certified dyno and all this other bs. said that with the full exhuast im doin nothin but hurtin it cause it needs alot of back pressure to make its torque/power.. funny thing is he used to always ask me when im gonna get a real car when i had my 03 cobra make 570/630 to the wheels and now that i have a vette, he still asks me when im gonna get a real car. hopefully he will put his money where his mouth is! ive been tryin to get him to race since the day i met him.. dammit..

You've run into a classic case of "I have the latest so it must be the greatest" attitude. Those same guys will also argue that their 500hp Z06 has more power than a 490rwhp C5 or C6 for that matter.
If you're anywhere near AZ I would be happy to film his re-education at the track.

Be careful what you say around here as the mods will lock you down if you're promoting illegal activities.
Off the record - I'm always down to wax a bigmouth if the environment is safe. No traffic, people to kill ect.

Wow his argument is incredibly well thought out. He must have graduated at the top of his Engineering class. A much more intelligent individual than me!!! Quickly, take off your exhaust and replace it with a 1" pipe! Oh and while your at it, add some sand to your gas tank. I hear this gives your engine a nice hone job to free up a few extra ponies! And red adds 5 RWHP.
