Diff fluid level

Default Diff fluid level
I was wondering how full the Diff should be. I had it replaced a couple of weeks ago and I'm going on a road trip to Southern Cal. Should it seep out when the plug is pulled? I don't want to burn up a rear end.

It should be level with the bottom of the filler hole.
