Default Vredestein Tires

Got my tires from TomZ Wheels mounted yesterday. Haven't had much seat time with them on the car and it's been raining so I don't have pictures. But ...
On the way home from the alignment shop I was on dry and wet pavement. Tires performed flawlessly. Love 'em.
One feature that surprised me is the raised bead on the sidewall protecting the rim. Nice touch.
if you're thinking about new tires do a search for Vredestein Tires and you'll see all kinds of good news.
Pictures will come when the rain stops.

I am sorry if there was a problem. If you sent a PM to me that I did not respond to it would be because I did not recieve it. I went back 3 months which is as far back as my PM's are saved and I did not see one from you. At any rate please resend it and I will keep an eye out for it.

Thanks
Tom

I have these tires and can't say enough good things about them. They made all the difference in the world to the ride, performance, and they are quite.

Whenever somebody asks me about them I throw em the keys and say drive it you be the judge.

If you can live outside of the runflat security blanket these are the tires to buy!

The better question is why doesn't anyone keep them in stock?

There are questions being asked in the thread you started about these tires. Could you jump in and answer them please?

I have done 2 track days plus one day at the drag strip with mine and can say nothing but good stuff about them. Best value for tires out there. I wish they would have stayed a secret, so I can get some more in the future!

Motorsport wheels in standard ZO6 sizes. Tires are 275/40ZR17 (they don't make a 265) in the front and 295/35ZR18 rear. They look good.

Junkman I have answered the questions I could. I can't address the "How long will they last" 'cause I just got 'em. And as your question - I don't know.

Tom Z said they were in Port on April 1 and as soon as he saw them he would send them on. He did. They were at my tire shop the week of April 21. I have had no problem with Tom Z's service.

If you want more info about the tires Google Vredestein as I said in my original post. The reviews are good.

Oh, I don't want any info, I want the tires! It's just that every time I try to order them, they are always on back order. I would think that a supplier would stock up on them. I don't see anyone having any trouble selling them!

I've been waiting for these tires as well but I'm about to cave in and pick up a set of Firestone Wide Ovals.

I bought some used run flats to hold me over for $100. They have some meat on them too!

I have 7K on my rear tires and 8 laps on an Auto X course. They are still doing great and the wear is not noticeable yet!!!!

I LOVE THESE TIRES!!! Dry, Wet, Ice, Snow, Rocks, Dirt, ETC ETC!!! They have got me through weather and terrain I NEVER thought a Vette could get through!!!

We have been swamped here at the shop and this is one of the few chances I have been able to get back on the Forum. I apologize for the of the delay. I handle most of the threads so if anyone gets impatient waiting for me I encourage you to give us a call toll-free at 1-866-939-1030. WE have more people on the phones who should be able to answer any questions and if they cannot they will track me down.

Vredestein has just got in another shipment of tires that have just cleared Customs and they are in the process of unloading containers. As soon as they get them unloaded they will be putting an order together and getting it on a truck headed to me.

As to supply issues, Vredestein has just finished switching over from building Winter tires to building Summer tires. During the process of switching over and the added interest in their product there have been some delays. We have been orderring enough product but they have just not been able to completely fill our orders. We have 30 sets of the 275/40/17 and 295/35/18 combos coming our way now and it is my understanding that there are moore coming.

Thanks
Tom
