MAF Electrical Connector, any options?

MAF Electrical Connector, any options?
Hello all,
Over the weekend I lost the little grey retaining clip for the MAF connector (don't ask), is there a place I can find one other than the Chevy dealer? According to the guys at the Chevy dealer you can't buy the clip seperately you have to buy the whole connector. If I have to buy the whole connector just to get the clip, not a big deal. Just thought I would ask forum members before shelling out the $43.

I broke mine years ago and never bothered replacing it - no big deal. The connector is held in place very securely without it.

Appreciate the feedback Patches, it appears to be a snug fit without the retaining clip. I may just leave it alone. Just for further reference, the GM parts supporting vendor has them for about $23 W/O shipping incase you ever decide to replace it.
