I am hoping that someone has some pics they could post of their Corsa exhaust installed. Preferably right over the axle near the sway bar, plus the outside edge of the muffler where it meets up with the rear quarter panel. And of coarse the Tips.
I installed my Corsa Pace with Pro Series tips and I am having problems getting everything to fit perfect. I was hoping with a couple pictures of a perfect install, I can make the adjustments on mine.
Thanks in advance!!
All adjustments are made by loosening the two clamps on each pipe....One clamp allows in and out adjustment of the tips for that particular muffler...the other clamp allows for up and down adjustment of the tips for that muffler.....You made need an assistant to hold the tips in place while you tighten the clamps once they are aligned....ALSO, the clamps must be tightened to 45 ft pounds of torque....This is quite a bit of torque for a conventional 3/8 drive ratchet....Borrow or rent a torque wrench as the tips will slip in time if the clamps arent properly torqued.....The first pothole you hit can knock them out of alignment....In addition to torquing the clamps I also tack weld the pipes once I have them aligned....
i bought corsa exhaust ( pace car ) last year...i was not at all thrilled with it..i traded it with a local vette owner for his borla exhaust. it had too much of a boat sound to it.
OK, I had the same problem with my right side not lining up. I looked at everything and adjusted each side as much as I could and they would still not line up. I looked at the mounting tab that is welded to the back of the mufflers and I noticed that the right side was welded about an inch higher that the left side. I decided to take my vice grips and bend the tab downward some to make them match up better. Now they are perfectly alined. If yours is only off by 1/3 of an inch or less you might be able to stack some washers on the rear mounting tab so when you bolt it up it will be lower but wont rattle around since its secured in place. Good luck.

Should have done the X-pipe!!!...It completely eliminates the "motorboat" sound!!!!

Just be careful not to push that hanger bolt up too far...Once you lose it it's a B*TCH to get it back down!!!
