A little damage...
It was a nice day to clean the Vette. Out of no where a gust of wind comes and slams my door into the concrete where the vacuum cleaners sit at the car wash. I hate Oklahoma weather!! I usually put my floor mats or one of my rags up against the door to prevent this, but my mind was slipping today. Now I have a nice torn white spot on my drivers door!!
That is a fair size damage to repair. You could turn in a comp loss to insurance if you have a low deductible. Comp loss is usually not a chargable loss against you. But check with insurance especially if you have one of those cheap guys, they cut you no slack.
State Farm will be fine, I know.
Wow, what a bummer. The wind has been wild here for the past few days. You might want to repair it out of pocket depending on your financial situation. Hell of a way to start the weekend. David
I feel your pain..........but it looks worse than it is..........fortunately the door is fiberglass is very repairable - a good body shop will be able to fix it and you will never know...........good luck !!
I hate wind Wind is our enemy!I have to say the paint looks nice other than the place where the son of a wind got it!How much would it cost to fix something like this?? Just curious.
OOPS! OUCH! That hurt. I'm just glad it wasn't me, I definitely would not have come back home! After my hubbies head got through spinning I am sure I would have to find a new place to live!
