I need some pointers for picking out a setup for my 2001 at a moderate budget. I would like to do it a little at a time but I feel the stock bose system will make it difficult. I want to start off with the head unit, but Im not sure what I will have to deal with in terms of installation with the bose amp and such. I am also curious how easy it would be to transfer the 4 6.5 boston acoustics from my camaro or if it would be better to just buy a new setup. Eventually I want to add a sub, but its further down on my list. Lets say I had a budget of 500$ to start, excluding the sub/amp-- what would you recommend (unless you know of a setup including the two that is good bang for the buck)

I had my speakers (not door subs) replaced with Polk's, sounds MUCH better. Not a bad stop-gap till you make a decision on the rest of the system.
