Please help forum members. This morning when I started the beast. something activated the window washer pump and it promptly pumped all the washer fluid out. and the pump kept making a whining noise after the fluid was gone. I pressed the washer button at the end of the right side stock repeatedly with the motor running when it finally stopped. After work I started the beast without any washer fluid pump activation problems, however when I got home and turned the headlight switch off to lower the headlights the pump came on again making the motor humming noise again . I just turned off the ignition. I don't know whats going on here, any advice is appreciated. I hope it is just a gremlin like the passenger window not working for a morning and then working properly ever since.
From: Park City to SoCal - according to the map it's all down hill. No bad days in Indian Wells, California
Check the end of the washer lever. Check the little button on the end that activates the washer fluid pump and the wiper. If it's off center (pushed in on one side a little) it may cause this. The button will pop out if you are careful - use a very very thin screw driver (type used for glasses). BUT be VERY careful - there are two tiny springs that sit inside the button in two holes that will pop out too.
The whole assembly is just snap fit together. May be the problem. Good luck
