Two GM bra ?
I'm not wild about any of the bras, but I figured I would give this a try.
This is the first time being installed, so I know it needs to stretch out a little. I finally got it on, but the hood piece looks like crap. Is it supposed to lay perfectly flat? Mine curls up a little bit on the edge of the hood. It also looks like it is asking for tiny particles to get trapped between it and the hood. For now I have removed the hood piece, and it looks better to me this way.
I know everyone says to use it on trips only, which is probably what I will do, but what is the huge difference between 5k highway miles and 5k around town miles?
It's on, I'll live with it for now, but I don't know.

A big problem with using any of the bra's made for the C5 is the dirt that gets under them. The front wheels throw dirt forward that gets behind the bra where it ends at the fender opening. When at the track I cover this area with tape (under and over the bra) so all of the dirt is riding on the tape and not the paint.

You're right about it needs to fit tightly or dust/debris will work itself beneath and wind flapping will cause abrasion.
When I bought my SPEED LINGERIE bra, I was torn about buying the hood extension piece. I decided not to when I ordered although those fit very tightly. It also seems to me that the thickness of the two vinyl layers between the hood and front bumper might cause some binding of the hood since the gap isn't that great (?).
I leave my SPEED LINGERIE bra/mirror covers on all the time. Keep the backside of the bra clean and the paint well polished/waxed. If the bra fits tightly, there should be no wind flapping or paint abrasion. If it gets wet, remove it to avoid possible paint damage.
Mine has been on from when I first got my car at 3,800 miles and now has 6,100 miles...no damage, except for the small three paint scuffs/abrasions originally on the front bumper as the original owner didn't believe in using a bra for local use.
