Default replacement screws ???????????

Can someone please tell me what the exact name and exact size of the replacement chrome screws are? I actually want them in black but when I bought what I thought was the corect size, they turned out to be to fat in diameter.
for the hood and trunk i bought #8 3/4
i also bought the 1 inch length and the 5/8 length for the doors and gas cap area.
they are all to fat in diameter.
they are black with the washer already connected to them.
I bought them from Ace Hardware.
I cant find them anywhere online.
Thanks for any help.

They should be #8 screws. I think 1" long would fit most places. I had to use 1" in a number of trunk holes to get them to grab.

I bought mine from a bolt supply house. Stainless screws and flat washers. Looks pretty good.

Personally, I'm not big on those washers in that kit.

I don't know the exact size, but I'm pretty sure the screws are metric sizes and are slightly smaller than the #8's. You'll probably need to search online for "automotive fasteners" to find an exact match to stock.
