looking to do brake job this weekend, how are the hawk hps pads compared to the stock zo6 pads with brake dust? can't stand washing wheels every time i drive the car! really don't want to use ceramics because i drive the car pretty hard at times.

actually, HAWK HPS dust less than stock Z06 pads and are perfectly silent - but they don't stop worth a damn either...

HAWK HP+ dust like mad, squeal like crazy - but stop fantastic.

Stick with stock Z06 pads and live with the dust if you drive hard...

I use HP+ because I track the car;no noise issues and great performance, albeit with lots of dust. I found the oem pads to be quite good on the track, but I wanted the extra bite from the HP+s. I think the oems are great for daily driving.

Im swapping back to the stock pads after a few months with carbotechs.. Performance of the stock pads are pretty good and dust isn't that bad.. Ive found that my audi's produce more dust..

I've used HPS pads for quite some time now. On powerslot rotors though. Dusting has decreased tremendously and it seems that the stopping power is just about the same as the stock Z pads. Mine are as quiet as can be. No sqeaking after two years of daily driving use.

I have Porterfield R4S pads and love them. They bite hard and produce very little dust.
