I have a friend that has a set of Mickey thompson sportsman drag tires mounted on 1986 rear 16" corvette wheels that he is offering to me for free and they have only been raced a few times!!
1. Will they fit my 2000 c5 (just to race)? 2. If they fit is there any reason why I should or should not use them? 3. How good are they? 4. Will I have any problems?
Seems like no one with direct knowledge is jumping in so I thought I'd offer some suggestions. Check the bolt pattern(which should be ok) then check the wheel offset(lay the wheel face down, put a straight edge across the wheel and measure the distance to the bolt flange) And last run a tape measure around the tires. If everything is reasonably close try them on as wheel clearance for the brakes is the last hurdle to clear.
