Default good double din radios?

which brands and models are good(double dins only)? based on price and function? the only option that is a must would be touchscreen. navigation would be nice....but with that they are usually too expensive

I have a D3 also. It has built in Navigation and outputs for additional video, Ipod, rear view camera etc. Lots of equalizer/sound options and plays DVD movies as well. Touch screen feature is very nice.

My only gripe about the unit is the Nav DVD must be in the reader to plot routes. It also has a neat accelerometers built in to measure your acceleration and lateral G forces and displays it as an analog gauge on the screen. It records peak Gs as well. I don't know how accurate they are though.

Definitely check out the Kenwoods. Garmin NAV is standard on some models. I run a 7100.

I have the Avic D3 in my F-150, and even though you need the CD to plot a course, it can be taken out after a route is selected. I love the Head Unit, and it is incredibly user friendly, the screen is great and easy to see. I have no complaints on that unit.
