I am coming up on a bonus in a few months and have around 15 to 20k to put into my car. its a 2002 z06 with 16,000 miles. i am pretty set on getting the 2.6l kenne bell package that comes with cold air kit, rk sport hood, 42lb injectors, flash tuner, 76-93mm inlet and a boost a pump. should put me around 569 rwhp and 557 rwtq properly tuned.
besides these upgrades i plan to add JET-HOT Coated Long Tube Header System w/ Random Tech High Flow Cat's, X-Pipe and corsa tigershark exhaust.
what do i need to do to make this safe to drive. hardend main shaft? DTE differential strut kit? i want to spend the least amount possible. will my stock z06 be able to handle 600 rwhp without breaking?
also does anyone know a good shop around Phoenix to install and tune this properly
any help you can give me in making this decison would be greatly appreciated
yes extreme motorsports is your only option if you want to take it too a shop. ask for steve or jason to work on your car. steve is a buddie of mine and both are great guy's.
i just did a PCS from north carolina to Yuma AZ. thanks for the tip ill look into them.
You might also check into shops in San Diego. Doing that much work is going to take a few days/weeks and you might enjoy the beach more than the desert...
i spoke with someone at xtreme and they seem to offer reasonable prices. i am going to get a quote to knock everything out at once. thanks again for the recommendation.
any advice on what i will need to keep out of the shop. i dont street race but i would like to go to the track without snapping something
