50 Anniversary Year???
I have a question. My vette is an '04. The first vette made was in 1953. My vette has an emblem on the hood ,of 50 Anniversary. It is an anniversry edition. 2004 minus 50 is 1954, not 1953.
Anyone got an explanation?

The 2003 is the 50th Anniversary year.If your '04 has 50th badges on it.It is incorrect.

Your math is correct. 03 was the anniversary year, 04 was the last year of the C5. If you bought yours used, maybe the last owner put it on there otherwise I don't have a clue why it would be there.

Sure you have a 2004? What does your title/registration say? If you have an '04, the wrong emblems are on the car.
