Robert - what color interior do you have now? I have a buddy that wants to sell a brand new set of black OEM skins or a slightly used set of the Shale skins. I know he's looking for $400 for the pair. As I said the black ones are perfect like new, and the Shale are a little worn - car they came from had about 4000 miles.
No worries on fit and the price is right.
replacing the light grey in my 99 I think the black would stand out and I am thinking of getting an accent color added as opposed to just grey this time..

I have light gray in mine Robert. But I have Vette Essentials. I know you already said too much money. I replaced a set of skins for a buddy of mine that he bought from West Coast Corvettes - they were made by Mid-America. I was very surprised on how well they fit. The secret is to get new foam and take your time pulling everything as tight as possible. Two sets of hands helps too. One person can pull and stretch while the other secures it as it's tight.

Good luck.
yeah Gene Culley has a great deal on new foam right now...no way I would do skins only
Im glad i found this thread. I am getting ready to upgrade my seats and buy new skins and from what i have seen in this thread alone im sold on the Knock seat covers. The quality seems to be far better it all depends on how much more they are. I tried using his web site and theres not much info on there.
Theres a guy on Ebay selling nice looking covers for $540, anyone seen these? He's from Ga.
Also it seems the top part of the seat is where the majority of the wrinkles are you wonder if maybe it's old foam or poor installation. Seem's to me the top part of the foam receives very little wear from everday driving unlike the bottom portion. Makes you think it may have a lot to do with the cover and not the foam.
