Well after a wash out at the Wildwood show , we stopped by the world's largest Corvette dealership on the way home.
Many of you who have visited Atlantic City may have passed close to it. You can see the casinos near by from there.
What a treat to see that many (mostly new Vetts) all together in one place. Probably 150 or so!
You find yourself automatically grinning ear to ear.
The folks were personable and not pushy at all. "Ed" the manager welcomed us and engaged in some friendly Vette talk. They once had a collection there but it is now in storage darn it. Hope to see it someday. The only "oldy" they have is the original (white) 50's prototype Vette, featured as the world's first Vette. We got pics of course. Prices were good new and used, it's no wonder they sell so many.
i almost bought my first used vette from them a few weeks ago but couldnt agree on the price and it went to auction the next day. great staff and very friendly not pushy salesman. if i ever get another i will buy from them.
No it's a one story showroom, but it's usually filled with the Kerbeck collection of Corvettes. But they are selling the C6 like crazy, so it's packed with new Vettes. Plus you may also see a Lambo or Bentley on the floor as well.
I believe they sell some 900 new Corvettes each year.
The belief is that, because they stuck by GM and the Corvettes during the lean years, GM favors them with a huge allocation.
If you’re in the market for a new Vette, Kerberk is the place to go. Not unusual to save 7k plus off the MSRP on a fully loaded Vert. Great selection too. Kerbeck also sponsors an annual Toys for Tots run every fall. Over 600 Vettes turn out for this event. This year will be my forth TFT run. Weather permitting, 1000 plus Vette are expected. Here is the website for Kerbeck.
Take the time to read this about the "Oldy" Corvette. Pretty incredible history. A thousand bucks at the right place and time and it could have been yours! Probably several million today.
You can see pics on their web site, but most of us wind up in Atlantic City sooner or later. You have to see it in person, it's a good reason to make a visit.
I had a great experience buying a new Vette from Kerbecks(had it shipped to me on a closed carrier). They talk the talk and walk the walk. Its no wonder they sell so many Vettes
