That's unquestionably the ugliest thing I've ever seen done to a C5, both the bumper and the exhaust . Looks like an April Fools joke to me 
. Did this guy do some shrooms and then decide to go mod his car

Absolutely, the shadow on the ground is extremely easy to generate, but I've inspected it very closely in PS and the bumper is the genuine article. No way to be sure with the tail pipes, but if the bumper is the real deal it isn't a stretch to believe that the exhaust is genuine. Looks like a prop from one of those 1980's "This is your brain on drugs" commercials .
. I hear you. Interesting though, why would someone do this? It can’t be for protection, at least I don't think so, I believe if anything hit's us, it will hit us license plate up, and hell, some vehicles will just roll completely over us, so what is it protecting?

It sure looks real. Look at the left side of the chrome bumper the reflection looks like rear end of the car beside it.
