Thanks Guys , for the info on how to make Jacking pucks from hockey pucks. I bought used pucks from Play it Again Sports @ 59cents each. And 4 , 3/8 eye bolts from Menards . Drilled a 1/4 inch hole , screwed them in , and ground off the exess from the other side. Under 5 bucks and they work Great.
One other thing...... the pucks sold by some Corvette vendors are very thin. If you jack is like mine it has a concave lifting bowel on the end of the jack and these pucks are too thin. Thats not the case with the hockey pucks they are just the right thickness.
Where the hell do you get a hockey puck in TEXAS. "Hockey" doesn't
even sound good. I'd still like to get some if I can find someone
around here who knows what they are.

Hi Red 3644,
If you can't find any pucks in a sporting goods store make your own.I,am measuring them as I type this. The eye bolts measure 1 & 1/16" wide( Lowes p/n H#35226 sold in a clear plastic box of 6) Used a 1/4" drill bit. The height of the installed eye bolt is 1 1/4".That height allows you to insert & turn & lock the puck into place. The puck is 1" thick & 3" wide. I would use a 2x4 piece of scrap wood which will add a 1/2" extra thickness.More thickness might be required if your floor jack base is concave instead of flat.Tip: Solid oak is stronger & lasts longer.
When I was at Lackland afb in sep. of 65 I didn't see Jim Bowie either because we all slept on top on the covers on our bunks, thanks to the drill instructor lol Any way I hope this helps you out.
