I'm a real animal lover, and my dog is a 12 year old black Lab, whom I love more than most people. But ,IMHO there are places dogs should'nt go. Anywhere there is a lot of people and kids and Classic cars. Lets face it dogs tend to pee on tires and poop where kids and people walk and play. It ain't the dogs that are the problem, it's the owners that don't manage the mess in most cases. Don't mean to offend YOU, I'm sure you take care of your dogs droppings. Then there is always that one time that your dog feels threatened and bites somebody. Take the vette ,leave Fido at home. I'm sure if your dog could talk, he'd agree with me and most folks.
As a man that's been extremely happily married for 48 years and has more toys than most, drive the truck and go with the wife. This is a non issue, give me a break!
Dont take the dogs. I love my dog but he is worse than a small child, you may not be able to enjoy the tourney if you are dealing with them. Other people might appreciate not having them there also. I say take the vette and enjoy the weather, then take the dogs out for a late evening ride and enjoy time with them.

Go to the tourney with the wife and dogs in the other vehicle, then take a nice evening cruise with the Vette. Makes the wife happy and you get your time to bond with the car.
Ok so tomorrow the wife and I are attending a softball tourney but she wants to bring the dogs. I want to take out the Vette since it is going to be a nice day tomorrow like 80 degree NICE! Should I just let the Vette sleep in the garage and ride with the wifey or drive the Vette and let her drive her truck with the dogs! Just think driving 2 cars to the same event seems a little silly. But I swear the Vette is talking to me lol.
I don't believe you really want to sleep in the couch.............
