New Tire Report
Just returned from a 1500 mile road trip with my 2000 FRC. About a week before I left I had a set of KUMHO Ecsta MX's and new tire pressure sensors installed. I had some reservations about wet weather performance based on some reports I'd read, but after having to drive the first 5 hours of my trip in rain, I gotta tell ya, they handled great!
Not even a hint of hydroplaning, felt real solid. The other thing I was interested in was road noise compared to the previous (original) Goodyears. They are considerably quieter than the Goodyears. Not silent by any means, but much nicer, and the ride is very smooth as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase. Just thought I'd offer my 2 cents.
