Noisy valvetrain when cold.
I have a bone stock 2002 vert with 30K on it. When I start it in the morning it sounds like it has marbles rolling around in the upper engine until it warms up. It's not the dreaded piston slap that I know. I had a 2002 Ram air TA that did that. Running mobil 1 5-30 with about 1500 miles on it. Anyone elses do this? Do I need to be worried? I have heard of these things spitting out roller bearing out of the rockers. Like I said it quiets down one it warm up. Pretty loud when cold though.
