Thanks Guys/Gals
I drilled a hole in the bottom of my center cargo well (that's where the amp and subs are mounted.....Ran the ground wire through it and down to the transaxle area....Grounded there....Of course always go directly to the + side of the batt for amp power...be CERTAIN to fuse it!!!

there is a ground on the passengerside near the door. open the door and pull up the plastic molding that lines the edge of the door area and its on the "wall" under that plastic up on side. sorta near the back of the seat. if you go to the audio section there is a sticky about all electronics for the c5 and it has all the grounds shown

There's also an entire section for this, Audio and Electronic. Check it out, lots of great stuff.

Here is a picture of the ground Tikiman12 refers to. As he notes, there is one on the passenger side under the molding. You can also access a ground in the same place on the driver's side...

Passenger side:

passenger side rear seat bolt - works like a champ. Multiple amps at that single ground point.
