Suspension Question
I have a 99 Coupe with 17 K. Does a C5 have shocks and struts. When should I replace them? Also, How many miles on average do the OEM runflats get before needing to be replaced.

C5 suspension is by transverse composite leaf springs frt and rear with gas charged shocks (active suspension uses electro-magnetic shocks I believe). No Struts. With 17k on the clock you are a long way from having to address anything unless you are modding the chassis.

Unless one is leaking or you want some better shocks you are just fine
