Does anyone know or what the ride is like with the F45 package( the lil **** on the console that says sport or tour or perf.) on there C5 vette if it gets lowered front and back?
I am thinking about my lowering my vette but wondering if I have F45 ride if it will effect it any?
I recently lowered my car on the stock bolts with f-45. I had a code thrown once but never again. I have scince added Z06 shocks and added f-45 suspension simulators so I could remove the f-45 shocks. I added front and rear lowering bolts and slammed the car. While it was lowered on stock f-45 it only threw a code once in about a 3 month period.
I just lowered mine all the way on stock bolts about 3 days ago. I do have the F45 and was concerned I may have issues. So far I have had none and no codes. I will wait about another week and then have alignment checked. I suppose the ride might be a little stiffer but nothing drastic.

sounds good thats all i needed to know didn't want to drive another lowrider truck around way to bouncy of a ride back in the day.
all I wanted was to shorten the gap of the tire to the wheel well to give it that lowered look. you got any pics of what your vette looks like lowered on stock bolts???? thanks!!!!

I just started a thread on my lowered car tonight! I have the ride control thing too. I had to drive it around for a LONG period of time to find an alignment place that could align the car today also. I rode around in Tour over not too good roads and some glass smooth ones also. I couldn't tell a difference, however I also did not alter the setting from Tour. I'll try it out later once I get my other issue fixed, or at least confirmed. For pics check my thread out.
If you lower the max on stock bolts , about 1", you will have no problems and the ride will be OK. I went 2" on my F45's and suffered bottoming out shocks for 5 yrs till I got tired of this and went to PFADT coilovers this Jan.
No more probs and ride is good with 2" drop.
Yup...I have F-45 and took out the front bolts all together, longer bolts in the rear. Bottomed out on the stock MRC shocks instantly so I got some bilstein sports instead. To get around codes and what not I just went to the chevy dealer and let him program out the ride control (took about 20 seconds) and I unplugged the module in the rear compartment. There is a process that must be followed when you do this and I found the step-by-step process through a search on this forum.
