The LS2 chain is the one to go with and you will be fine. I run a double chain for my boosted setup though

yea its really all dependant on how crazy you want to go. I would just do the LS2 chain. Good Price and works great! The double chain is overkill for most setups. Its good insurance if you need it tho.

I would go with either the LS2 or Katech timing chain. I have heard a lot of good things about the LS2 chain from people who run their cars pretty hard. I did see a report or two where the LS2 chain broke but don'y really know why this happened.

I would avoid the double-rollers due to issues of them fitting with stock timing chain cover.

The LS2, I was told, was improved and what I used in my LS7 upgrade.

^^The OP is installing a new cam. Usually when this is done people change their timing chain, oil pump, and harmonic balancer, among other things.
