Default Need a Little help guys

Ok so here is my situation. Im in the Army and stationed in Korea so everything that happens with my car goes through either my wife or mom.Well I need to get the car reregistered in TX from NY because its being stored in Houston. But it I can't find the bill of sale from the dealership. I have the title but not the Reciept. Is there any way that I can make this happen without the bill of sale or get another one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The dealership should still have records of the sale. Contact them first. How long ago did you buy this from the dealer?

Default Re-registering?

If you have the current title that should be all you need. I think a title in your name should be sufficient proof of ownership. Good luck,

p.s. I have nothing but fond memories of '66-'67-'68 in the Land of the Morning Calm.

Have them call ahead and see what is required in that office. Different tag offices have different guidlines and if it's anything like where I live, you won't know what to expect.
Good luck and thank you for serving.

Here in Nevada, All you need is a title, If car came from another state all they do is check the ser numbers.

As the other guys have indicated... should be fine with just a title.. at least thats the case in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. Bill of Sale or no Bill of Sale it says you own the car.

On another note, thank you sir and your family for all you do for us!!!

In NY, if you're going for a 1st reg, you'll need an affidavit, sale or gift of the auto. Sorry, not sure about Texas tho. Try to get hold of dealer if possible. That'd be your best bet!
