Same here... could be a little bit louder, but for the $50 I spent it's great

I went with 1 1/2" pipes and the same whole diameter.

I also went with 1 1/2" pipes and he made the hole as big as he could, but I wish it was a tiny bit louder... IDK i'm probably way too picky considering the cost

It is not the size of the pipe you use. It is where you put it.

But on a serious note, can anyone compare the stock C5 exhaust sound versus a stock C5 with Z06 titaniums and a stock C5 with the bypass mod in terms of idle, acceleration, and cruise?

How would the volume of each compare - slightly louder than stock, noticibly louder than stock or aggressively loud?

It's hard to tell with sound clips.

I may be wrong, but what I like about the bypass is that the sound (more of it) is caried outside the vehicle and the mufflers are stock. After market mufflers are louder by themselfs hence you have two louder cans under your car trunk resulting in more of a cabin noise. My 2c

ps. not to mention, should your taste change it's not much to go back...

I was going to do the by-pass instead I went with a straight cat-back. Love it.

If the stock C5 is about a 2/10 on the loudness scale, what would the bypass mod be?
