Finished installing my c6zo6 shocks and c6z51 sway bars afew hours ago. The whole job took about 4 hours, it wouldve took a whole lot longer if my fellow corvette owner Tony didnt help. All in all it went pretty smooth (broke 1 bolt on the front shock) I notice a big improvement. I had stock shocks and sway bars with the plastic end links on my 98 coupe with 68,000 miles. sorry no pictures too busy wrenching to stop and take shots! The shocks and sways are twice the size of the stockers but every thing fit perfect. Thanks to Gene for the parts at a great cost and once again thanks to Tony for all the help!
I believe it was around $500 to $550 but if you have the stock suspension like I did with alot of miles it was worth it. At first it seem to sit a little higher but it seems to be setting down after I drove it
Did my '99 A4 coupe about a month back with the C6Z06 shocks and C6Z51 bars. Then I had it dropped to the max on the stock bolts. My parts cost with new endlinks was at $400. I'd scored with a 1000 mile set of the C6Z06 shocks but new bars and links at a great price also. I had my local mech put it all in so had to pay for his time also but well worth the cost.
The whole car feels a lot more solid on the road to say the least. No regrets at all!!!!
