Frc?
Ok, dumb question here. What does FRC mean? If I search the term here, way too many hits without description. Can't find it. Thanks

Its not that it is "better". The FRC is just a C5 with a FIXED roof. They ran from 99-2000, then in 01 the Z06 came out and things got interesting!!!!

I think they are better...
You get the stiffer suspension
No leaks
Lighter Weight
Better looks
Just my opinions... I love all C5's.
And FRC = Fixed Roof Coupe

I've seen white FRCs ('99-2000) But have to say I haven't seen a white Z06 yet.
Not that rare means that much to me in C5s, but it is interesting.

Don't feel bad,,I mistook one for a Z06 at the Fun Fest last September. I had never heard of them,,,,In January I stumbled into a great deal on one ,,,now I own one!! They are about 80 pounds lighter, come standard with Z51 suspension and power steering cooler and 6speed is standard. Think of them as the Z06s daddy!!!

I just picked up a 2000 frc I wasn't picky about what style top, I would buy before I got it, but after having it now I wouldn't want to go to anything different.

Do a little research, the FRC is more than just a C-5 with a fixed roof. It is the lightest body of the (3) body styles for the years 1999 and 2000 - With its fixed roof, the hardtop offers a basic Corvette that is pure in performance. It presents a slightly different profile than the Corvette Coupe. The Hardtop comes standard with the six-speed manual gearbox, Z51 suspension, a 3.42 limited-slip rear axle and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
