why is it impossilbe to keep the rear end from getting dust/sand on it. even from a 5 minute ride on clean roads it gets filthy after a fresh wax. do any of you use a special type of wax or something so that the this stuff doesnt want to "stick" to the rear end? this is getting ridiculous
no solution to that one and it dosn't matter what year vette, they all do it, they are low to the ground big tires coupled with the turblance at the rear of the car, presto dust

Welcome to the tail light paradox. If you are talking about the tail light lip gathering sand then as someone mentioned the flush tailight mod is just about the only solution. To my dismay, when I put on my Tigershark rear fascia I found that the tail lights have no choice but to be flush mounted (no inset like the stock rear)...Even though I hate the flush look, I don't get the sand in there anymore...it's all about give and take

this reminds of my days back in fluid dynamics (air being the fluid)... the design of this car is particular for a reason and this is something we will have to live with
I agree with the rejex or zaino comments and a quick dust off when you get to your final destination
