I am guessing the Lotus raped every other stock car there. At least that's how it is over here. Corvettes don't do too well in those low-speed, tight courses.
Actually I heard that the Black Z28 SS was the fastest in its class!! The Lotus was really awesome going around the course!!! I am really not sure what class it was in.. oh well it was still fast!! Maybe the SCCA website will post up times for the Colorado Springs Co. Event!!!
lotus's are badasz cars on any tight course, corner speed makes all the difference on the world. i have watched and they brake so late and carry so much more speed through the turns....no none can hang..sorry to say.
Great pics. I used to do a little novice Auto-xing and had a ball. They always made sure the course was as narrow as possible. The club guys ran VW's and 510's
