Default Winter storage

Is it better to disconnect the Positive terminal or can I just disconnect the Negative, or doesn't it matter. Do any of the preset memory stay intact? :chevy

I leave my battery connected and attach a Battery Tender. If you elect to disconnect the battery I'd disconnect the positive terminal although I'm not sure it makes much difference.

It doesn't really make any difference, but when you disconnect a battery, always disconnect the negative terminal first. That way if you ground out the wrench you won't create fireworks.

Now you might not remember this tip now, but I guaratee you that if you ever disconnect the positive first and ground the wrench you will.

Install battery cables in the reverse order that you remove them - positive, then negative.

I've heard if you have no power for a long period of time the radio's theft protection activates. As long as you have the code no problem
