I'm curious is to what all you guys out there are making on a H/C and all boltons. What is the best rwhp, and rwtq is been made. Also what does your set up consist of. I just got my car back from these mods, and am curious if my car is not putting out the rwtq it should be?

Thanks,
2KLEN4U

What are your mods and what was your rwhp and rwtq? I will have my new dyno sheets in a few days. Having to get new valve springs in it right now and some other stuff with a new tune.

I'm going to have my tuner chim in on this. He can give you all full details to what he did to the car. The car made 474rwhp, and 404rwtq. I was thinking it should have made a lot more torque, but I was wrong. I was hoping to see it make closer to the 500rwhp also, wrong again. I guess the next thing to do is change cams out. I don't want to put any nitrous or any power adders on the car. Other than that it has the best of the best on it. 215 trickflow heads ported and polished 59 cc, Fst 92 ported intake, Ls7 tb, I can't remeber the cam specs. I know its lift is 6:05 6:10 with 113 + with kooks 1 7/8 longtubes, and x pipe that still has the cats on it. I have corsa catback also. The car sounds like it has a off road x pipe on it. I see some foks that have all the boltons making more tq, and hp, so Im wondering if there dyno is putting out true numbers. Considering what mine made. \\

Thanks

What all do you have done to your car? This is without any nitrous or super charger?

Thanks,

Good Tires!

I don't have my dyno sheet online but I am at 500 RWHP & 530 RWTQ. Keep in mind that power is more than peak HP; it is the total area of the curve. Our tuner lowered the peak HP and made the car faster on the track (road course.) Our TQ is a straight line from 1800-4500 RPM's.

The car is a 2004 Z06 with Trick Flow CNC 215's milled .020, HS 1.7 rockers, 238/242 113+2 .605/.610 cam, ported FAST 92mm intake, LS2 90mm TB, kooks long tubes with cat'd x-pipe into corsa cat back, 25% under drive pulley, SLP cold air intake with carbon fiber air bridge. I REALLY think the cam is killing the low end/mid range on the car. It makes peak power right at 6500rpm. I really think if the cam was swapped out to something along the lines of a 230/232 .612/.595 111lsa xxxicl the car would pick up atleast 20rwtq at the peak and more than that in the 2500-4000rpm range.

Overall, It is the second highest rwhp stock shortblock heads/cam 5.7L car I've had on the dyno.. it would have just been nice to have seen more torque. Btw, our dyno is pretty stingy it seems.

Here is my dyno results.........Kep in mind that I have a stock 99 with an A-4. Add ons include, corsa pacecar cat backs and one of those cheap dual cone intakes. The #'s are better than I thought they could be.......RWHP- 336 @ 5300 rpm.
RWTQ- 361.3 @ 3800rpm.

Not bad for a 99 that has 345 at the crank..........

BTW, the before dyno tune #'s are on the right & the after on the left. I'm happy with the "stock" results.

Get some LG 1 3/4 longtubes and forget the cats and I would bet you'd pick up a little hp/tq.
