The boards are printed on a photographic metallic paper mounted on a 1/2 inch black Gatorboardm 16 x20 in size. Printing and mounting is done at a lab which gives it a very professional look. I use a 13 MegPix camera if I photograph the vehicle. I like the board to be different for every person I do not use a template. I try to work closely with the customer. My equipment and software: Canon digital SLR, Adobe Photoshop, and other little softwares which I would like to keep to myself for now.

From the prices I have seen from other services, they charge about $150 depending on style, text, and the number of photos used. Now remember putting these arragement togethere take time and I like for the client to be satisfied with the final product. I think that for the Forum I can do the boards for $140. plus $10 for the shipping. (box is not small). I will not charge for the number of photos used or the style of the text. So if you want 10 photos I will use 10 photos. Remeber these photos are going to be on 16x20 board.
I can photograph locally, or send me a CD with the photographs you would like for me to use. Just make sure the images are good/large images. The price also includes a DVD with the final board in JPG format and any photos I used. This is for your records and if anything happens to the board you can have it printed on your own.
Once the board is done I create a gallery for you under my Zenfolio account for review. I can do a couple of different layouts, you pick the one you like, once payment is made I send it to the lab for processing.
I'am retired for NYPD, been doing photography since high school, Im not out to take advantage of anyone.

Okay,I want one! im going to gather some pics for a cd. Any certain size they have to be? I would like one of similar to the Roys 2001 C5 corvette.
How long does it usually take? Do i pay when i send the cd?

 

Thank you. Mail me the CD with your photos. Make sure the photos are of good quality and high resoulution. I will put a board together for you. I will create a gallery of the samples boards and e-mail you the link.
You pick the one you like, make payment to my Paypal account and I will send the file to the lab. Approx turn around time about 2 weeks I would say.

As most of us continue to modify our cars, how much would you charge to edit (no artwork changes, just text revisions/additions) and print an updated version?

 

 

Thanks and Good question.
To keep the cost down to the customer I guess I can make the modification and send you the new file, and you can have it printed and mounted. I will not charge for simple modifications like you mentioned.
