Thanks 97C5owner I like your logo, we have 3 guys in the department that have corvettes. also I am an ex chief, I use to have a red lights on the dash and if someone did not pull over for me I would just pass them! Are you a volunteer or Paid?

 

Awhile ago, I saw a buncha Vettes...(mainly C5) driving eastbound on sunrise highway...wonder if that was you guys..!

 

Wish I could be there I am flying in friday night to attend Lindenhurst tournament on Saturday,then Pocono race on Sunday,time constraints will make me leave the vette in Fl. Plane is quicker but not as much fun to ride in.It is exactly 20 years since I ran Lindenhurst as the driver for Brentwood.Good luck with your get together. Maybe will see you in Lindy.

Thanks guys were hoping to have a big turnout, its on the bay and good site for pictures,I"ve been telling the guys and gals in the dept about CF and what a great site this is. I posted in events and its every friday night, so if you miss it this week theres always the rest of the summer. And I hope to see many corvettes. Its just where my heart is!

Paid Professional. Just made my first promotion with only 4 years in. Engineer assigned to Station 16 (Downtown). Our station is one of the largest in Houston. 5 trucks. Engine 16-Ladder 16-EMS supervisor 16- 2 Ambulances A016 and A516. My captain has the C5 bug now. He just stares at mine on the days I bring it to the station! I think his wife just gave him the green light so I'll hopefully be helping him look for one next tour. Shes so mad at me for letting him drive mine! Its great.

How long were you a Chief? Which Dept? Hope ya'll have a great turn out and lots of fun! I'll be on shift that day, so I'll be looking for ya'll to post some pics!!
