I was running a speaker wire on the passenger side last night when I noticed it was damp under the carpet. It rained all last week and I drove a lot in it. Where could the water be coming from? Is there some sort of drain plug that maybe is loose? Anybody else ever notice this?
on the right hand side are some udders that if they get full will let water into the passenger side compartment , and if it get into the electronics there . it will suck big time . easy way to clean them is remove the rf wheel and take the inner fender acess panel off and you will be able to see them

Funny that this thread just came up, I didn't have a wet floor, But I was looking at the engine compartment and I saw these 2 things hanging down on the drivers side firewall, I guess these are the utters, You can reach them from the top and clean out them, Mine did have some leaves in them and are clean now.

So I found all three driver side udders and cleaned them. Not too bad, but they did have some leaves in them. I'll have to run a hose on it and crawl under the dash to see if it is still coming in.
I'm not sure, but I don't think it is from shoes, it just seemed too damp for that, but it did rain all week so maybe...
I'm having the same problem + my wipers won't stop working.
I guess I have to clean the udders out. The wiper motor must have gotten wet.
I never have these problems with my 65 convt.
How much trouble is the clean out?
I easily reached the udders without tools or anything on the driver side, just stick your hand in there and pull it out, then stick your hand in and shove it back in. There are 3 on the driver side... easy stuff.
