The stock bolts will allow you to lower it approximately 2 inches. You can turn them with a 17mm end wrench I believe. If thats not enough, just like Crowder says, buy the kit from WCC. I think its $50 bucks.
And don't buy any other bolts from Home Depot or your local hardware store. You want Grade 8 bolts or higher. The torque those bolts have to handle will destroy lesser quality bolts. If you want to level out the front, I believe the stock bolts allow you just over an inch of drop.
Anyway, I've got mine "slammed" on the factory bolts in both front and back and I don't know that I want to go much lower. Perhaps a little more in the back, but none in the front. Lowering too much decreases your drivability getting into places with even the slightest slopes and inclines.
The bolt is just there to support the bushing. I first cut off the bushing and screwed the bolt all the way in. Then I figured theres no difference between riding just on the bolt or no bolt. It dropped it maybe another 1/4".
I do have issues pulling into certain parking lots with a slope but I already know what to look for and just avoid them.
I'm riding on C6Z shocks and I know some people will argue all day that shocks dont change the height of your car but I did notice that the car sat maybe another 1/4-1/2" lower on C5Z shocks.
i got the front c6 bolts from wcc and poly bushings for the way bars and rear bolt kit. the bolts were too long for my liking so i ordered a pair of grade 8 bolts the length i wanted and nylok nuts from mcmaster-carr. i could go another 1/2" inch or so, but with the streets around here i scrape a little as it is, even pulling into the garage.
Just finished lowering mine on stock bolts as far as it would go. It only dropped it a little over a half inch. Maybe it will settle down a bit more after I drive it.
Looks like I will be ordering longer bolts.

Yeah, from what i've researched they say after driving it for a while the car will "settle"
I plan on lowering mine on the stock bolts here pretty soon? Any advice?
Advice-"Just do it". It only took about 15 minutes. It took longer to get the car off the ground than to actually lower it. It was VERY easy to do. If you get stumped we're all here to help you out!
I'm in the garage now trying to lower the front, I already cut the bushings on the rear and left two threads showing...it looks good there. BUT the front is giving me issues...I cannot get the front bolts to turn counter clockwise.... any advice? On passenger side the retainer clip is on the spring and two or three threads showing, on drivers side the retainer clip has 2 or 3 threads between it and the spring, and 2 threads on top.... I can't get either bolt to turn.... I jacked up on front cross member and have to jack stands on either end of it...

stock bolts lowered with bushings is far from slammed bro BRING ER DOWN LOW
Mine turned fairly easy. Maybe try some WD-40....
There really isn't any sort of hidden trick, yours are just hard to turn.
Thanks, I even pulled the upper arm and shock out of the way and hit one them with an impact wrench at 120psi and couldn't get it to budge!! frustrated!!! its seized

Got mine from Home Depot/ Lowe's they are Grade 8 and are actually a little larger than the factory bolts. I've had no problem at all. They are not with the regular bolts, they are in the specialty fasteners drawers. I didn't like the stock rear bolts because to lower it down about 1.5-2" clearance above the tire only left about 2-3 threads showing on the bolt below the nut and I was not comfortable with that.

Support the cross member with jack stands then move your floor jack to the side you are trying to adjust. Put a small wooden block on the lifting pad of the floor jack and place the floor jack under the end of the transverse spring. Slowly jack up the the spring until it is off the control arm and the adjuster screw can be turned by hand. Only thing I had to take off was the wheel.

Looks good but your front is too high, it's higher than the rear so your rake is wrong. This will cause instability at high speeds. Rear should be higher than front.

What difference does that make. At the point that you have lowered the car that much on stock suspension you have rendered the suspension useless. Rake is the least of the problems. If you drive it at high speed like that, you deserve what happens to you eventually.
