I too had set my mind on EB with black interior. It seemed to be hard to locate at the time. Mine was originally sold as a Canadian car and it has a black interior. It was imported back to the states and sold to the guy I bought it from. I guess the answer is that they have all been shipped back to the states.

The color is what made me buy the one I have now, among other things. I did a search on fleabay for verts. I can't remember how many red/black/yellow/gray(or silver) cars I saw but when my Electron Blue convertible popped up I knew I had to have it! I've lost track, but just about everyone compliments me on the color! I do know that there were only 1902 convertibles painted this color in '02 and '03 (NOTE: I SAID CONVERTIBLES! THERE WERE QUITE A FEW MORE COUPES AND Z06's PAINTED EB AS WELL).

Since I usually get ripped when I say that there were only 1902 convertibles in EB (Corvette Action Center figures) I will explain again that coupes + Z06's combined, total a larger figure than the 1902 convertibles painted EB in '02 & '03.
Coupes '02 + '03: 2222 + 967 = 3189
Z06 '02 + '03: 1814 + 1272 = 3086
Verts '02 + '03: 1371 + 531 = 1902
Coupes '02 + '03: 2222 + 967 = 3189
Z06 '02 + '03: 1814 + 1272 = 3086
Verts '02 + '03: 1371 + 531 = 1902

I looked for 4 months before I found my EB vert with a manual transmission. I wanted black interier but it was hard as hell to find one so I settled on the light oak. Not a big fan of it but hey, the rest of the car is exactly perfect. I too get lots of compliments on the color when I take the car out.

EB is a great color. Great pictures everyone!

The previous posters are correct - 02 and 03 were the only years for EB.
In 04, Le Mans blue replaced EB in the lineup.
Le Mans is slightly darker, and in my opinion, EB has more of a metallic look .
EB is why I waited for an 02 before I bought.
