I have a pewter and am thinking about getting them. I currently have chrome.
I have seen on another and looks great.
Check the C5 parts forum, as someone is having a sale on front and rear black chrome letters.

My silver C5's rear lettering is still untouched because I haven't found anything I liked enough to put there. I'm tempted to just fiberglass in the letters and paint over it!

Sorry no pics, but IMO the black chrome would look great on a silver C5.

I've got a set I haven't put on my monochromatic Arctic White vert - yet. Maybe this weekend. I will tell you they look amazing and would great on your car. Unfortunately, they are almost impossible to photograph beacuse of the way the black chrome reflects light.

I bought the front and rear black chrome letters, as both were on sale.
I removed the old chrome ones with a hair dryer.
On my pewter, I think they look great...better than the chrome.
The quality excellant and installation is easy.
I think on the pewter or silver they'll look great.

We've sold over 200 sets for the C5 and C6 and have had nothing but good reviews.
I am not sure what you were expecting, but black chrome is not black, it is chrome that has a tint to it.
I hate for any customer to be "disappointed" with one of our products.
Even though you mentioned in your PM you did not want a refund, I issued you a full refund anyways.
