Whatever you do, get it realigned after lowering. You might want to consider the A&A frame savers for the front nerf bars to get through those steep driveway dips without leaving your mark, and as soon as you think the nose is anywhere near the parking curb, stop immediately. Lowering will yield increased negative camber, which you need for a performance alignment & handling.
As Team said you have to get your car aligned after lowering, you will need longer rear bolts if you want to really lower the rear, my front had plenty of adjustment without cutting or removing the bushings. The car will ride harsher after lowering, but it not bad and the looks and handling are improved.
Mine got lowered an inch at the factory.
I was hitting spots in the Z06 that I don't hit on my 2000 Coupe and didn't think much about, Then last weekend I had my Z06 parked next to Speeder's and its a full inch lower. This had to be done at the factory, so some cars must just come out lower. ????
