Tranny fluid
Hello, I went to my garage owner and I wanted to change my oil transmission. He have a machine which makes the flush of the liquid with also a soap or a cleaner which cleans the system. My question is, do I have to change the filter and to remove the pan to?

It's always a good idea to inspect for metal chips and friction material that might be at the bottom of the pan.
You can tell much more about it's overall condition by removing the pan.
Even with a power flush,I would replace the filter too.

My question is ,if you drop the pan where do you put the new fluid in at?Trans cooler?

Not a big fan of flushing the trans. I say let the filter collect any lose particles and let the fixed particles fixed. Just drop the pan (clean the magnets on bottom of pan) and change the filter. Most important is to refill the trans compltetly. In order to do so you need to run the trans thru the gears and refill (several times if necessary)

There is NO drain plug on the C5 transmission pan.
The plug on the left side of the the pan is the fill level plug.

When refilling the trans the engine must be running or you will not get the correct amount of fluid in.
