Well after i had the steering colmn lock last night at the local golds gym, i had it towed this afternoon by AAA. The guy they had sent out was probably one of the nicest fellas i'd ever met. He took nearly 1 hour to put the car on, but he treated the thing as if it were a Bugatti. Might i tell, my car is lowered 1.5'' on the front and 1'' on the back. So this made it even more hard for him to get it on his new bed. He said he'd worked with several other vettes before, but not one as low as mine. He told me not to worry, with the most concerning attitude ever. He told me that evertime he does this he realizes it's someone elses property and that there not cheap. I understood his passion after a good hour to load the vette on his bed. We went to the local dealer where he took it off, ever so gently. After 45 minutes later and a nice tip, he gave me his business card and told me not all people treat cars the way he does, and if anything ever arose to call him and he'd be there. This really made me appreciate the service and kindness put forward by AAA.
If anyone is in the CNY western part of Upstate NY and in need of emergency towing assistance i can pm you his number and information from the business card for towing service. His humble carefree self made me all together forget about the Steering Column Lock problem i originally had!
